The carved green totems are from Guatemala. 3x solid green-tinted marbled stone sculptures featuring a human figure with tall headgear in a squatting position. Unknown stone. Not jade nor malachite - could be serpentine, of which there are deposits in Guatemala. Since the majority of inhabitants in Guatemala are descendant from the Mayan culture, this is reflected in their craft work. Their pottery is mostly fired at low temperature so is not suitable for placing where it is exposed to the elements. #624
